The Commission Process
From concept to your desk in four simple steps.
Consultation
We discuss your budget, preferred sound profile (thocky, clacky, silent), layout, and aesthetic. You pick the parts, or we recommend them.
Sourcing
Once the build sheet is approved, we invoice you for the parts and labor. We then handle purchasing and shipping all components to our studio.
Assembly & Tuning
Every switch is hand-lubed. Stabilizers are clipped, holee-modded, and tuned to perfection. Acoustic foams are applied as needed.
Delivery
We rigorous test the PCB and acoustics. Once it passes quality control, we securely package your new endgame board and ship it to you.
What's included in the build fee?
- Complete Assembly
Mounting switches, installing keycaps, and testing PCB functionality.
- Expert Switch Lubing
Hand-lubed with Krytox 205g0 or TriboSys 3203 depending on switch type.
- Stabilizer Tuning
Lubing, wire balancing, and band-aid modding to eliminate rattle.
- Acoustic Treatment
Case foam, PE foam, or tape modding applied upon request.
Build fees typically range from £35 to £100 depending on the size and complexity of the board. Parts are billed separately.
